About Artêria Gallery
Whether it’s through painting, photography, sculpture or glass, the gallery promotes bold work of high artistic quality through the new contemporary movement.
Located in Bromont in the beautiful Eastern Townships of Quebec, Galerie Artêria showcases its artists internationally by participating in about fifteen international art fairs every year around the world – New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, Stockholm, Milan, Istanbul, New Delhi, etc.
To participate in the contest, the registration form must be duly filled out and accompanied by high definition digital photographs with online payment. It is recommended to use a high-quality reproduction process. Only digital photos will be accepted. We advise artists to avoid photographs that are too small and do not showcase their artwork.
A participation fee of 75$CAD (55€) per entry applies.
Participation fees are non-refundable if the artist’s entry is not selected by the jury.
The jury that will review the submissions for the exhibition is composed of the members of the management of Galerie Artêria. The submissions will be judged based on their quality, the originality of the artistic approach, and the strong potential for sales at the exhibition.
The artworks must be shipped directly to the fair’s address and according to the instructions provided by Galerie Artêria. The costs associated with insurance protection and transportation are at the expense of Galerie Artêria and Art x Terra, up to a maximum of $250 CAD (which is sufficient in 98% of cases). The costs associated with standard insurance protection and collective transportation of the artworks from the fair to Galerie Artêria will be covered by Galerie Artêria in the event that the selected artist is located in Canada. Precise information will be provided to the selected artist regarding the delivery and retrieval of their artworks at the gallery in this case. The artworks must be adequately protected during transport with reusable packaging for re-shipping. We suggest that if a carrier such as Fedex, DHL or La Poste is used, to use the carrier’s standard insurance. Art x Terra, Artêria, or the contest collaborators are not responsible for any damage that may occur during transport to the fair.
The contest organizers reserve the right to use images of the submitted works to promote their exhibition through any necessary means. Therefore, registering confirms that the applicant accepts all the participation conditions of the contest.
Galerie Artêria will take a 50% sales commission on the gallery price of the artwork upon its sale.
If you do not have a « gallery » price, it will be established beforehand between the artist and Galerie Artêria to ensure that everyone is happy with the transaction.
Payment to the artist following the sale will be made within 10 to 15 business days after the end of the exhibition.
